Little Shepherd Virtual Book Tour - Day 26

The LITTLE SHEPHERD VIRTUAL BOOK TOUR '10 continues this week with two stops for a cold, windy, and slightly snowy November Monday.

My first stop today is at Book Marketing Buzz. This is a blog run by Dorothy Thompson, founder of Pump Up Your Book! My article is titled, "5 Tips for Coordinating Your Virtual Book Tour". You'll find ways to make it easier to coordinate your own VBT, which is something I believe every author should do at least once.

You can read this article at http://bookmarketingbuzz.com/2010/11/07/5-tips-for-coordinating-your-virtual-book-by-cheryl-c-malandrinos/ Unfortunately, you can't leave comments at this blog.

My second stop of the day is at the blog of my dear friend, Linda Weaver Clarke. Though we've never met in person, I feel like I have known Linda all my life. She has been very supportive of my writing, and I hope I have been a source of support and encouragement to her as well.

The best thing about her interviews is that she makes them seem like face-to-face conversations. You can find our interview at http://lindaweaverclarke.blogspot.com/2010/11/interview-with-childrens-author-cheryl.html  Linda loves comments, so I hope you'll leave some. She also has two series of books you can learn more about by checking out the video trailers in the sidebar of her blog.

I want to thank all my blog hosts and all those readers who have helped to bringing Little Shepherd back into the Amazon bestseller rank for a third time since its release. The book reentered the ranks on Saturday at #40. It's now at #87, but I feel blessed it every broke into the ranks at all.

Little Shepherd Ranks as an Amazon Bestseller for Second Day in a Row

Little Shepherd remains in the Top 100 bestselling books in its category (large print, children's) on Amazon for a second day in a row. I am so humbled that readers are so interested in Obed's story.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

God bless!

Little Shepherd Ranks as an Amazon Bestseller for Third Time Since Its Release

More good news on the book promotion front. Little Shepherd has ranked in the Top 100 Books in its category again today on Amazon. When I checked this afternoon, it ranked at #40 in the Large Print - Children's Books category.

This is the third time Little Shepherd has been ranked an Amazon bestseller since its release on August 21st. In October, it ranked in the Top 100 Books in its category for three days in a row.

I feel truly blessed. Thank you to all my blog hosts, my readers, my friends and family for all their support, and most importantly, to God for His blessings on this project.

Little Shepherd Virtual Book Tour - Day 25

Amazingly, the first week of November is almost done. Today is my daughter's 7th birthday, so I'm trying to play mommy more than author right now.

I return to The Plot today where the cow from the stable is interviewed about the new visitors that spent a night keeping them company. This piece ended up being much deeper than I expected--despite the two typos that were found.

My friend Ellen from Confessions of an Overworked Mom, who has been promoting Little Shepherd at her blog since it came out, reviewed the book today. She's also offering a giveaway that is separate from the two I am currently running. As part of her Winter Wonderland Blog Carnival going on all this week, those who comment at her review will have the chance to win an autographed copy of Little Shepherd and a 1998 Hallmark Keepsake ornament. It's beautiful, I am staring at it right now.  :)

Good luck to all who enter!

Little Shepherd Virtual Book Tour - Day 24

The schedule changed for the LITTLE SHEPHERD VIRTUAL BOOK TOUR '10 today. Instead of two stops, there are three!

My first stop is at Rose's blog, The Plot. I've always loved this blog because it is a strictly character blog. Rose is always looking for characters to interview, so be sure to let her know if your character is interested.

You can find a short excerpt from Little Shepherd and some information about me and the book today. The link is http://theplotline.wordpress.com/2010/11/04/little-shepherd-by-cheryl-c-malandrinos-2/. Tomorrow, the cow from Little Shepherd  shares her thoughts on the new visitors to the stable.

My second stop is at SFC: Families Matter. This is a Stories for Children blog run by V.S. Grenier. SFC took a short break, but is now back in full force. You'll definitely want to follow their blog if you have kids, are a homeschooling parents, or work with kids in any capacity. You can find my interview at http://familiesmatter2us.blogspot.com/2010/11/little-shepherd-blog-tour-with-author.html.

My final stop of the day is this beautiful review written by April at Cafe of Dreams. She gave Little Shepherd a 5 out of 5 rating.  She doesn't do that often, so I feel truly blessed. Here's a bit of what she had to say:

"Little Shepherd is the perfect story to share again and again with your family and friends.  What a delightful tradition to start, having the family gather together and read this memorable and heart-touching story."

Remember, if you leave a comment at any of my tour stops, you'll be entered into a giveaway for some great Christmas themed prizes. Details of the two giveaways I am running during my virtual book tour can be found at http://littleshepherdchildrensbook.blogspot.com/2010/09/giveaways-announced-for-little-shepherd.html.

Thanks again to all my blog hosts and their readers who have made this virtual book tour possible. I hope you drop me a line to let me know what you think of Little Shepherd. You can reach me at cg20pm00(at)gmail(dot)com.
