Little Shepherd Virtual Book Tour - Day 28

Well, well well, what do I have for you today? There are two stops where you can leave comments for a chance to win some great Christmas themed prizes.

My friend, Mayra Calvani, posted a fabulous review a few moments ago. Here's a little bit of what she had to say:

"It is a sweet tale about the power of faith and the good things that come with it. The story has a quiet, magical, slightly suspenseful tone and looks at the birth of Jesus from a different angle."

She also commented on Eugene Ruble's wonderful illustrations. You can read the full review at http://mayrassecretbookcase.blogspot.com/2010/11/review-of-little-shepherd-by-cheryl-g.html.

A Room Without Books Is Empty (I agree) posted a lovely review of Little Shepherd today. Here's a blurb.

"This book should become a new must read every Christmas Season."

You can read the full review at http://detweilermom.blogspot.com/2010/11/little-shepherd-by-cheryl-malandrinos.html

Thank you for following along the tour trail. I hope you're learning a bit more about me, my work, and Little Shepherd. I love to hear from my readers, so why don't you consider following here and/or leaving me a comment here or by email at cg20pm00(at)gmail(dot)com.

I would enjoy hearing from your little ones who have read the book with you too!

Little Shepherd Virtual Book Tour - Day 27

I'm a bit behind in posting these, but you'll forgive me if I was playing Mommy, right? This Tuesday I was volunteering at the school library. Here's where you could find me yesterday:

Mason at Thoughts in Progress allowed me to be a guest at her blog. The topic I was talking about was titles. They don't come easy to me. This post also gave me a chance to mention some neat blog titles that I've always liked.

Then my fellow author and friend, Morgan Mandel , let me share a post about juggling it all. With three kids spanning from 23 - 7 (yes, Sarah had a birthday this month), work, volunteering, and book promotion, juggling is what I do all the time.

The Double M blog is a neat place to hang out. Morgan has a group of loyal followers and many of her posts engage the reader by asking a question at the end. You can read my post at http://morganmandel.blogspot.com/2010/11/please-welcome-childrens-book-author.html

I hope you'll look for me on Facebook and Twitter.

Thanks to all my blog hosts, my readers, and most of all to God for His tremendous blessings!

Little Shepherd Virtual Book Tour - Day 26

The LITTLE SHEPHERD VIRTUAL BOOK TOUR '10 continues this week with two stops for a cold, windy, and slightly snowy November Monday.

My first stop today is at Book Marketing Buzz. This is a blog run by Dorothy Thompson, founder of Pump Up Your Book! My article is titled, "5 Tips for Coordinating Your Virtual Book Tour". You'll find ways to make it easier to coordinate your own VBT, which is something I believe every author should do at least once.

You can read this article at http://bookmarketingbuzz.com/2010/11/07/5-tips-for-coordinating-your-virtual-book-by-cheryl-c-malandrinos/ Unfortunately, you can't leave comments at this blog.

My second stop of the day is at the blog of my dear friend, Linda Weaver Clarke. Though we've never met in person, I feel like I have known Linda all my life. She has been very supportive of my writing, and I hope I have been a source of support and encouragement to her as well.

The best thing about her interviews is that she makes them seem like face-to-face conversations. You can find our interview at http://lindaweaverclarke.blogspot.com/2010/11/interview-with-childrens-author-cheryl.html  Linda loves comments, so I hope you'll leave some. She also has two series of books you can learn more about by checking out the video trailers in the sidebar of her blog.

I want to thank all my blog hosts and all those readers who have helped to bringing Little Shepherd back into the Amazon bestseller rank for a third time since its release. The book reentered the ranks on Saturday at #40. It's now at #87, but I feel blessed it every broke into the ranks at all.
